Acrylic, also known as PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate), has good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy to dye, easy to process and beautiful appearance. Generally, PMMA products can be divided into pouring board, Extrusion board and molding material. Acrylic products are acrylic board, acrylic plastic particles, acrylic lamp box, signboard, acrylic bathtub, acrylic artificial marble, acrylic resin, acrylic (latex) paint, acrylic adhesive and other products.

　　Main properties of acrylic plastics

　　1. It has high transparency, light transmittance of more than 92%, soft light and clear vision. The dyed acrylic has better effect.

　　2. Acrylic plate has excellent weather resistance, high surface hardness and surface gloss, as well as good high temperature performance.

　　3. Acrylic plate has good processing performance, which can be either hot formed or machined.

　　4. Transparent acrylic plate has light transmittance comparable to glass, but its density is only half of that of glass. In addition, it is not as fragile as glass, and even if broken, it will not form sharp fragments like glass.

　　5. The abrasion resistance of acrylic plate is close to that of aluminum material, good stability and corrosion resistance of various chemicals.

　　6. Acrylic plate has good printability and spraying property. The ideal surface decoration effect of acrylic products can be given by proper printing and spraying process.

　　7. Flame resistance: it does not ignite, but it is flammable and does not have self extinguishing property.
